Faculty presenting Seattle-area events in May
Kellee Franklin is a faculty fellow for the 2008–2009 Justice Faculty Fellows Program sponsored by the Center for the Study of Justice in Society. Kellee will be joining faculty members across academic disciplines at Seattle University in the scholarship seminar EcoSangha: Engaged Buddhism and the Ecological Crisis and led by Dr. Jason Wirth from the Department of Philosophy. A workshop and open house will be held on Friday, May 15 (time TBD) where informal reports about the seminar learnings will be presented.
Colleen Ponto will be teaching Systems Games: An Introduction to Natural
Systems as part of the Saint Edward Environment Learning Center spring program. Learn about
fundamental concepts of natural systems and the web of life through fun
experiential games which introduce basic systems thinking tools and
perspectives. Wed, May 27, 7–9 pm at Bastyr
